Water Colored
I have mixed feelings about these water color-like fabrics presented in many collections. Personally I think it is a little too much. I do love the colorful pallettes of the spring collections, but not all at once. Here from Etro and Robert Cavalli, (two dresses that looks strangely much alike):

I love this dress from John Galliano though. I think it looks like a dream. Like a pink pouffy sky. Or like raspberry champagne. But it’s not at all wearable…

I lovvve the first dress! The shape of it and the colors arn’t too crazy. I think the water color affect looks very pretty just as long as the design is on the simple side and it’s not more than two colors. Very pretty.

I must admit that I am a little scared of colors and until just a few years ago I would only wear earth tones. Now my wardrobe is a lot more colorful. :)

I like the watercolor-ness of the fabrics, but I think only a darker skinned woman could get away with it without looking clownish. Lovely blog!

I never wear ombre but it looks great in fashion photography :)

Beverly, I think you may be right. If it was a darker skinned woman wearing these dresses I might not have reacted at all. :) My skin is very very pale…
Missy-J, that is true. :)

i think they are gorgeous, but true as most are saying…much better in photos than on a real body in real life. still so beautiful though with the colors!

At leat the bottom dress isn’t good for much more than photos. :) Don’t think many women could pull off wearing that.
