Stella McCartney for H&M Update
I got a tip from Linur, and it’s actually a little silly that I didn’t think of it myself, but there are actually pictures of Stella’s collection at the H&M website. Just some of the pieces are pictured for now, but from the 27th of October you can see it all. This makes it a little easier to make a plan of what to buy (and how much money to put aside). For those of you that haven’t got an H&M store nearby, you can order the collection online from 14th of November. They start to sell it in stores the 10th of November, so some items may be sold out before they are sold online…
I’ve just got a copy of the evening standard which has a 2 page spread about the new Stella McCartney collection for H&M.
I love the collection which is unusual cos I don’t normally like Stella’s items mainly as I find them too conventional and grown up, but this I have to say is a fab range. The clothes are a modern take on some classics I love the slouchy mac, v neck green top, zip ankle jeans and blue/red silk dresses. All these items could be worn again and again for years to come and they would still look very modern. Although I wouldn’t be able to afford the whole collection I think the pieces I’ll most likely be investing in are the skinny zip ankle jeans and the v neck green top and maybe the blue silk dress, that’s if they haven’t sold out by the time I manage to get to a H&M! :)

Why do I never come across a spread like that!? At least I can see it all at H&M’s webpage tomorrow… Of what I have seen for now I’d love the tweed-like zip pants, or the zip jeans. I’m not sure, but one of them. They look so great! I’d also like a dress. I’m looking for a new black dress, so I’m hoping there will be something like that. If not, a wrap dress would be a nice addition to my wardrobe. Too bad I have limited amounts of money, cause I can only choose one or two items…
I’m at the university the whole day the sale opens. I have to make it in the afternoon though or I won’t be able to sleep…

Actually, the H&M store does not sell anything online, so it is not true that the collection will be offered online (called headquarters and checked). Nor do the stores allow charge-sending. How are you to get items if there isn’t a store within 200 miles?!!!

H&M does sell clothes online, allthough not as much as they have in stores. This I am sure of cause I have just recently ordered online from them. Allthough I won’t say for sure that they will sell the Stella collection online, but as far as I remember I read this on the H&M websites. I got the date from somewhere, and if I’m not completely wrong, that’s where I got it. There might have been a mistake though…
