The beads look beautiful! You must post pictures of the finished products!

There’s so much I want to make, but so little time… A couple creations are coming up soon though. :)

I love the beads! Especially the bronzy pearl looking ones. =)
Actually, all the pink ribbons, lace and beads make a great combo! They all match!

I have a box where I keep all my ribbons and pearls and they look so pretty together. :) I wish I could think of more ways to use the ribbons though. I always buy some when I come across nice ones, but usually it just ends up making the inside of my box look good!

Ooh, I do beadwork too. So far, I’ve completed a necklace (which has a 70s look to it) and a belt. Tedious work stringing them together but the results do give a lot of satisfaction when you’re wearing your own creation. :)
I’m wondering what that cherub is in the picture above.

Cherub… That’s a word I’ve never heard. Had to check it in my dictionary, where it said kjerub in Norwegian, which left me non the wiser. But do you mean the angel? That’s just a scrap. (Are there better words for that in English? Those little glossy pictures with glitter on them…) I’ve used them for jewelry as well and it works pretty well.
And it is pretty satisfying wearing your own jewelry! Especially when people ask where you bought it! ;)

Oh, isn’t it commonly used in the UK? Cherub - winged celestial being. It’s related to Christianity, term for the second order of the nine angels in heaven. (something of the sort) How will you use the cherub? Do you paste it on something, or.. ?

It might be a common word. I’m learning my fourth language at the moment, so I’m bound to get a little confused…
I’ve used thin, but hard see-through plastic. One some I tried glueing two pieces of plastic together while putting a scrap inside. Then I cut it out. This works pretty well. The other way I tried was by sewing. I put two pieces of plastic together, this time with a scrap and laces. And I sewed them together using regular stitches. There are pictures somewhere. Under a post called Romantic Jewelry I think. :)

Ooh, thanks. Now I’m off to search for that post. :)
