More Flea Bargains

I wasn’t planning on spending more money on flea markets this weekend, but then I couldn’t resist… I found yet another handbag. It’s a fake crocodile purse, a pretty well made fake. And I can’t believe it, but it doesn’t look like this one has been used either. It looks old but it shows no signs of wear.

I also came across an 80’s belt. It’s kind of ugly, but ugly is fun.

The Dollar Flea Bargains

As usual I went flea hunting this weekend. I found this awsome cropped 60’s jacket with short sleeves, but just I was about to grab it, some girl took it. That bummed me out a bit, cause I’ve been looking for something like that for a while now, and they’re not easy to come by. But I did find some things, and I ended up with more of a 70’s look.

These two bags made me feel a little better. The first one is in the softest suede. It has the perfect baggy and patchwork look, and I don’t think it has ever been used. The second is a wooden handbag that also looks unused. I payed about a dollar each. I didn’t really think I’d get them for that price, it was just a suggestion since I was running short on cash, and they went for it!

This paisley skirt and matching off the sholder top also has that 70’s look. I’m not quite sure of them though… I payed a dollar for the set so I guess I can afford to think about it. The dress with the yellow flowers isn’t all sewed, but mostly pinned together. It looks quite easy to finish. It was a little small though. Hopefully I can fix that in a smart way. A dollar for this as well.

On my way home I stopped by this booth that sold jewelry for a dollar each. When it’s that cheap it’s hard to be critical. The ones on the first picture doesn’t look too cheap. The colorful plastic ones on the other hand… It’s not quite me, but I felt like a little color!

All in all I’m quite pleased. Can’t really let go of the image of that girl snatching the perfect jacket right in front of my eyes though. I used to be much more aggressive about these things. Nowadays I find my self moving too slow. Baybe I’m getting old… But I also got a couple of other bags, an angora dress with an unusal neckline, some scarves, a skirt and a cashmere tie. All for about the same pleasant price.
