Down the street from where I live there’s this tiny little secondhand store run by two old ladies. It’s open just now and then, when the owner feels like it, which is usually once a week. When you’re in there it’s so small and full of old stuff everywhere that it’s crowded if there’s more than two people in there at the same time. Most of the stuff is in a huge pile on the floor, and in the back there’s a room filled with stuff several feet high that makes it impossible to get in. But even though, by the look of it, this shouldn’t be the best place for secondhand shopping, you can find the most amazing treasures.
My latest found was an amazing authentic snake skin clutch. I spotted it at once, and as usually the old ladies were in a good mood an gave me a good price. This is the best item I’ve found in a long time, so I was of course thrilled and thought I’d share it with you.

If you’re ever in Oslo, make sure to stop by at “Et Dukkehjem” in Markveien. At the moment it’s open on Mondays…
