Berlin Shopping Heaven
Last summer I went to Berlin not knowing what a great city it is. A year after I am still impressed by all the strange cafè’s, the polite but smelly punks, and not at least the shopping possibilities. And then I’m talking secondhand shopping.
On every corner was a new strange store. And as I went inside I always thought “This must be expencive”. The nice thing is; it never was. Gloves, dresses, shoes… You name it. It was all cheap and there was a lot of it!
Checkpoint Mehringdamm 57. This store had the best selection of night gowns I have ever seen! I love wearing old night gowns as dresses, so this was of course heaven for me. I also found lots of other great stuff here.
Made in Berlin This is a store chain, so you’ll find them several places. The best one is in an area in eastern Berlin called Mitte. I never wrote down the street name, but spend a day in Mitte, cause you’ll discover endless numbers of exciting stores.
